Skin Pen Microneedling
Microneedling, or collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that minimizes signs of aging, improves the appearance of acne scars and rejuvenates your skin. After numbing with topical numbing cream, our provider uses the SkinPen microneedling device to cause controlled micro-injuries to the skin that stimulate the body’s natural wound healing process. The micro-injuries trigger the release of cytokines and growth factors that lead to remodeling of collagen and elastin.

For BEST results, we recommend starting with 3 treatments 4-6 weeks apart to achieve the best results. Maintenance treatments can be 1-2 times yearly after the series is complete.

Microneedling with PRP is an advanced microneedling technique that triggers even more collagen production and speeds up the rejuvenation process for more youthful skin. We will first draw your blood and spin it down in order to extract the platelets. Then, after topical numbing, our provider uses a SkinPen microneedling device to cause controlled micro-injuries that stimulate collagen production. The skin then has open channels that we can massage your own platelets into, leading to more rapid collagen production. PRP can also be injected into problem wrinkles and under the eyes to enhance the treatment. Increases results and decreases downtime - like getting two microneedling treatments at once!
